Seventeen years ago, my uncle Jack received a football on his birthday. From then on, he fell in love with playing football and was determined to become a football player. Eight years ago, he entered a famous local football club with great talent and effort. It was the happiest day of his life. Then, he won many competition prizes for his team. Three years ago, an accident struck him. He suffered a serious injury to his left leg in a game.
The doctor told him that he might not be able to play football anymore. Everyone who knew him felt pity for him. He was shocked and sad for a long time. But now, he is out of sorrow and works as a P.E. teacher in a primary school. He says he wants more children to understand the spirit of football.
